Since DH (dear husband) and I found out we were expecting, I have suddenly decided that I need to become crafty. No, not breaking into a bank crafty, but learn how to sew, crochet a blanket, figure out interior design kind of crafty.
Which is a problem.
Because I am not crafty.
I am one of those people who, in elementary school, always drew the same picture. Green grass with little circles I called flowers, a brown tree trunk with an oddly misshapen green blob at the top (leaves, of course), blue sky, maybe some clouds, and a sunny yellow triangle in one corners, always wearing sunglasses and smiling. For some reason I always thought the sun was happy. And conscious of the dangers of too much UVA/UVB exposure.
I also feel like I need to share my adventures in learning to be crafty by creating a BLOG about it. To share my lack of talent with the whole world. Or the poor people who follow my boards on Pinterest.
Which is my second problem.
Because I am not a blogger.
My problem is the follow through. If I searched the annals of internet history, I'm sure I'd find at least two but no more than five blogs that I was inspired to start, post on one or two times, and then abandon without cause or notice.
So, with Baby Hanson looking less like an alien every day, I am going to give both craftiness and blogginess another try.
Tune in for the next post!
Love,
Brandi
